Righto! i haven't posted in a bit but i HAVE been working on stuff, just now the in-laws sibs are here to visit for a bit and i'm much too lazy to do anything but chatter to them. Anywhoots, on recent news, Hubbers now has a waiver for dependents and is going in on Monday and again on Friday to swear into the Navy provided everything goes well *melts* Wish us luck because we tend to have the worst possible luck imaginable.

I had to stay after work on Sunday (we close at 7pm) until 10pm going to some silly class about stuff i don't especially give a flying rats caboose about ... anyway as the woman (who knew nothing) is telling us about the stuff, shes going over building the whole unit (which our department is already trained in) so i doodled away the time she yapped on and on. This is what ensued.



I'm really quite pleased with the way she turned out.. and happy that i still managed to draw something completely in pen without instantly hating it. I got lazy during the end and didnt much feel like "shading" in her pony tail.. and i think the anatomy is a bit off (her torso looks much too long), but i still like it. so much so that i stashed the stupid paper about the "Besta" units into the back of my sketchers to keep. FOREVER AND EVER FOR MY VERY OOWWWWN.


Here i decided to doodle Xavi after i read this super cute Shojo manga called "Muri Puri" (or maybe it was muru? i cant remember) i thought it was adorable though with its funky cute arabian prince type clothing that i wanted to try and draw it on on of my characters. I think it looks quite nice on him *admires* Took me forever to finish, im not even sure why it took so long but I felt so good after finally finishing something. I know its kinda wonky, i see the errors, but i still love it very much. I'm going to draw another i think with a topcoat on and showing off his sash arounmd the waist and his baloony-pants.



Right.. these i just really didn't feel like drawing my own characters, and i was itching to draw some animals so i thought, what better way to do that then to work on improving my felines.. and the character that immediately popped into my head was my friend Drache-Lehre's OC Myla. I really like how both of the faces turned out, and i was staring and staring and staring at various pictures of cats and drawing i found all over online trying to figure out why my felines always look so.. weak. so finally i think i made it a bit better? its still in a really really rough sketch stage, im wanting to go back and add more, but at the same time im not sure i should since i dont want to ruin what im happy with right now? i dunno... hopefully i finish it >.>; it'd be nice to do a full body also, i just havent been able to draw anything correctly anatomically these last few weeks, it really grates on the nerves.

Woo this is going to be significantly shorter then all my other posts. I haven't been sleeping well the last few days and the In laws are coming to stay with us for two weeks. Hoping that everything goes well tomorrow when my hubbers goes to MEPS to have his uber physical and swear into the Navy. Wish us luck.

In artsy views.. i have only finished one thing in the last couple of weeks. A chibi drawing of my Goddess of the Dark (N'oxina until i decide a better name or someone has a more impressive suggestion.) I LOVE the colors i used in this because darkness isn't only defined in shades of black or grey. Thought it would be fun to make a character where you never actually see more then her lips on her face- makes it more mysterious don't you think?



Anyways i always imagined that she would have sifting shadows behind her in the background, kinda roiling into the forms of Ravens and Wolves. I drew a little raven (its not a PIGEON) on her arm for.. well because i felt like it. Shes the creator of the Dark elves in my story and one of the Antagonists. YAY for BADDIES

I have one other picture to share but i haven't quite finished it in a way i like to show it off to anyone. EXPECT MORE ART SOON.

so yus, today i was a good girl and actually finished up some arts and scanned things in a better quality then what i had previously. WOO go me. Sadly, as it stands, i have yet to name any of the OC's i'm going to put up (asides from the new 10 char drawing i started on) so yeahhh. DON'T JUDGE!



This here be my interpretation for spring I wanted to do something with bright colors of greens and floral pinks and peaches, and still make it look childlike. I made her have hooves and horns to keep her tied in with her daddy, but aside from that i sorta free-reigned everything else. personally i love her little peach design and am wanting her to have it on the back of her little jacket as well. Debating drawing her more as i really love her hair and the design for her clothing. and yes, her hooves are the same color as her body, kinda like pig feet.



This one be my interpretation of Summer. Only at the time i decided to leave the top part of his clothing off (now i don't really remember why). Originally he was supposed to be the OC that was with Bijou at the very end, but the personality i have for him just doesn't seem fitting with hers. Total opposites my attract, but they have to have SOMETHING in common, and he seems more like the peace loving type.. Bijou kills whenever things no longer serve her purpose, she just seemed too cold-blooded for him. i based him off the summer sky and wheat fields.



This last one, well i was staring at my old huge character drawing (down one post below) and realized that half the characters in it are from totally and completely different stories that have absolutely nothing to do with one another. So i wanted to do a character group where they are all from the same story (because its fun, and i FELT like it). So i redid it. the problem being the last character i haven't designed as of yet, and i honestly had to cut out 3 because i ran out of room on the paper and im not certain if they are important to the story or not. I want them to be, but im not sure they fit. Anywhoots, this one i've already started inking (as you can see) and im planning on starting to colour as well - tonight - while i watch a movie.

Rawr so haven't posted in a few days. I figured I'd mostly post when i actually have something to say, that way its more interesting since most of the time I'm a lazy cow and really DO have nothing interesting to share. NOTHING! oh.. i watched all of season one for scrubs in one day O.O;;


Righto i have a few sketches this time. Nothing finished but im really kinda pleased that i actually managed to sketch anything at all. The first is a picture to amuse myself and kinda toss a tee-hee at Croon. It's my OC Bijou Beijo and my newest Autumn themes characters (son of Verdigris) Xavi. Which i am supper happy to announce i have finally settled on a name. its pronounced (Hah-vee). Originally i was thinking she would hook up with Summer.. but the more i was thinking about it the more i realized that the personality i was plotting out for him didn't really fit her at all. Besides Xavi is much more.. similar to her? I forgot to add his horns.. and i want to add a weapon over his shoulder as well (or perhaps several?) and it HONESTLY would be nice if i added some of his legs, i tried a few times and it looked like crap, so I'm going to leave it for now and by the time i ink it hope to goodness i settle on something less retarded looking. I need to work on folds on Bijou's skirt.


This one.. has been in the works for a really long time. It was actually all my female OC's at the time.. the only problem as now its... no longer valid. I still WANT to finish it, and go back and forth messing with it every so often, but im not so certain anymore what that would really accomplish? aside from having something with a butt ton of my characters on it all at once.


This one is my goddess of the Darkness... she has no name yet either (suggestions?) but i think I'm happy with her outfit now.. debating adding things to her lower legs and feet, but i rather like the idea of keeping her topless (no.. that doesn't sound wrong at all). I made a really horrible sketch of her back view just so i could... um.. you know i don't really know why i did it now? i just rather felt like it added to it?


Here i was trying to draw Cypress how *i* see him in my head. The thing is i LOVE all the wonderful commissions of him i get, and they are all beautiful beautiful interpretations, but one thing has been really nagging at me a lot. Always he is drawn super girly/beautiful. how i meant to portray him while i wrote out text descriptions was that he was a bit too angular and sharp looking to be attractive. that if at all people were attracted to him, it would probably be how foreign he looked.. like.. a weird eccentricity, pretty in its.. uniqueness? Lastly was something just for shitzengiggles... I thought it would be fun to make my own Fursona? So.. i like Red pandas quite a bit (or raccoons.. or quati) so i picked a red panda and then punked it out and added my piercings. WOO! Later on I'm going to do a full blown full body pictured piece.. possibly playing with some really awesome badass looking rifle.. *grins*

Really truly honestly she did. I think she delights in putting me in weird awkward situations that i may or may not actually finish going through with, never-the-less i have now made a blog and fully intend to start using it (for the time being - until i forget). Either to rant and rave about idiotic things around life, to muse about (again) idiotic things that amuse me, or to post my less then satisfactory sketches or story ides in a vain attempt to better myself and my ability. Here's hoping.

this first one being my newest OC (with no name) that is based off of Autumn. Again, totally and completely Croon's fault. She was complaining that im a horrible person that never gives any of her OC's happy endings (which is true.. i thrive on their misery) SO.. to make at least one end happy we plotted about how amusing it would be if Bijou (you'll see much of her later, you sad sad sorry lot) were to get together with the son of the man she is ever pining after in my current story.

the next two are none of your business as they are commissions, and i much prefer only to post my own characters or.. gift art on here as i can't be bothered to remember who's character it is that i need to give credit to a billion people to for whatever reason. SO HAH!
